The Assignments' weight can only apply to a single subject ( a subject needs to be selected in the filters)
Statistics are calculated based on the filters.  To set the Weight options, filter first the data for a given Subject, Class and Time period if needed
GPA, Weighted Average and Average can only be calculated if all the grades selected are of the same type
GPA and Weighted average can only be calculated if the Total Weight for the selected Assignments is 100% or under
GPA is available for all Grades types but #
Categories Weight are applied on top of the following options

Weight Calculations Options
Equal Weight: iGrade calculates automatically the weight of each Assignment.  The calculation equally split the percentage left between all the Assignments with the equal weight calculation selected

Example:
Assignment 1 - Equal Weight = 33%, Grade = 80%
Assignment 2 - Equal Weight = 33%, Grade = 90%
Assignment 3 - Equal Weight = 33%, Grade = 100%

Average = 90%
Weighted Average = 90%
GPA = 3.6

Custom Weight: Manual assignment of the weight.  Can be used in conjunction with the Equal Weight Option

Example:
Assignment 1 - Custom Weight = 50%, Grade = 80%
Assignment 2 - Equal Weight = 25%, Grade = 90%
Assignment 3 - Equal Weight = 25%, Grade = 100%

Average = 90%
Weighted Average = 88%
GPA = 3.5

Total Possible Grades: Calculation based on the total possible number of points.  In order for the GPA, Weighted Average and Average to get calculated, all the grades need to be of the same type

Example:
Assignment 1 - TPG = 20, Grade = 10
Assignment 2 - TPG = 30, Grade = 20
Assignment 3 - TPG = 40, Grade = 20

Average = 16.7
Weighted Average = 56%
GPA = 2.22

Extra Credit: Add points without changing the total possible points or number of grades.  Extra Credit applies only if all the other grades are of TPG Type

- Example:
Assignment 1 - TPG = 10, Grade = 5
Assignment 2 - TPG = 20, Grade = 10
Assignment 3 - Extra Credit, Grade = 5

Average = 8.3
Weighted Average = 67%
GPA = 2.67
